Where do mafia bosses and zombies meet in dodgy basement rooms, while superheroes and cowgirls embark on new adventures on the floors above? At socoto! Because film history was recently written at our headquarters in Trier: our 80-strong crew rehearsed a wide variety of roles, tried on costumes, hauled in props and practised writing scripts.

Standing in front of the camera for once or creatively participating in storytelling was on the programme of our very special summer festival in our anniversary year. Four professional camera teams were hired to professionally instruct the amateur dramatics groups. The result: four short films and lots of fun! And, of course, the most popular film was awarded a prize at the end and duly celebrated.

The idea of turning the offices in Trier into a film set for an afternoon was extremely well received: the atmosphere was exuberant until late into the evening. We laughed a lot and marvelled together at how one or the other excelled in their role. Events like this are extremely important to us. Because those who work flexibly also need to get together regularly to exchange ideas and have a good time together. Experiencing team spirit and growing personally is what socoto is all about.

Getting ahead together

Of course, we also offer many opportunities to advance professionally: our internal Academy, for example, offers a wide range of training programmes for different areas of activity.
